During his career, Mr. De Chazal worked as Judicial Counsel for several entrepreneurial groups; he was Commerce Manager in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Santa Cruz, and in the Pro-Santa Cruz Committee.

He was President of the Confederation of Professionals of Bolivia, President of the Freedom, Democracy and Development Foundation (FULIDED for the initials of Fundación Libertad, Democracia y Desarrollo) and President of the Association of Private Universities of Bolivia (ANUP).

Emeritus Professor of the Champagnat University (Mendoza, Argentina), member of the consultant council of the Center for Integration of MERCOSUR (Ministry of Education of the Rio Grande do Sul State – UFPEL University, Brazil). President of the University Mobility Commission and the external evaluation Committee of the Latinamerican Network of Universities’ Cooperation.

Distinguished and Honorific Professor of the Soka University (Japan) and International MBA guest professor in Sao Paulo (Brazil). Great Chancellor of the Italian Republic’s Foundation Societá Dante Alighieri, Santa Cruz Chapter. Regular Member in the Santa Cruz Academy of Letters, of the Academy of Juridical Science of Bolivia, the Constitutional Rights Spanish-American Institute, and General Secretary of the Bolivian Institute of Commercial Arbitration; Vice-president of the Bolivian Academy of Constitutional Studies. President of Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UPSA) from 1991 to 2004. National Dean of the Aquino-Bolivia University (UDABOL), during 2004-2006. Current Executive Director of the De Chazal Foundation and UVIRTUAL’S Excellence Center.
